Rose O'Dell Principal, President
Rose began her career in 2006 at Indigo Real Estate, a Northwest property management firm. Starting in accounting and working in multiple capacities at the company including Compliance Director and Regional Manager, she learned the importance of building high-functioning teams with great systems and processes to support them. Rose’s talent and drive quickly propelled her to the position of Chief Financial Officer. In her six years with Indigo, the company grew from 2,000 to more than 5,000 units under management.
Rose earned a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Seattle University. Rose is a licensed Washington real estate broker.
Kari Anderson Principal, Vice President
Kari has the unique ability to attract, inspire and retain the best and brightest people in the multifamily industry. Her genuine passion for mentoring and assisting her team members to grow in their roles can be seen in Thrive’s on-site team's performance.
Kari began her Property Management career in 1986 with Trammell Crow Residential Services (TCRS) where she was responsible for training and property marketing for all assets in Washington and Oregon. In 1994, she joined Equity Residential where she oversaw 15,000 apartments in the PNW as Area Vice President. In this capacity, Kari supervised over 300 employees, including five Regional Managers. In 2006, Kari joined Investco Management Services (IMS) where she was responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and management plans, including the annual budget process for the apartment portfolio.
Kari is the founding President of the Washington Chapter of the National Apartment Association and is currently a member on the Board. Kari is a licensed Washington State Real Estate Broker.

Dave Kirzinger Principal, CEO
Dave Kirzinger has a distinguished career in real estate acquisitions, development, asset and property management focused on mixed-use, multi-family rental and condominium projects. Dave began his career with Trammell Crow Residential and Intrawest, where he learned to balance market nuances and changes with the rigorous demands of publicly traded companies. He was then recruited to run the US investment group of Belkorp Industries, Balaclava Holdings.
Understanding his ability to create value quickly, AvalonBay entered the Seattle market in 1997 and brought Dave on board to lead their regional office which included 3,000 units in the Seattle area and asset management of an additional 5,000 homes in California.
After his tenure with AvalonBay, Dave became the operating partner with MOSAIC Homes. Dave led the US division and oversaw all acquisitions and conversions.

April Syria Regional Director
A high-energy leader who is excellent at building strong teams, April thrives in her role overseeing Regional Managers. Having worked in property management for nearly 20 years, April has an expansive and thorough understanding of the industry. This experience, combined with her ability to help others reach their full potential, creates impactful results for Thrive. April has her Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor designation through the National Apartment Association and is actively involved in Washington’s Multi-Family Housing Association.

Scott Sisson Regional Director
Scott Sisson joined Thrive as a Senior Regional Manager and was promoted to Regional Director in 2018. Prior to joining Thrive, Scott was a Regional Manager for Waterton from 2015 to 2017 where he oversaw operations of Multifamily and Commercial real estate in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada and California. During his tenure with Waterton, Scott was involved in all phases of operations, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Scott brings a unique skillset to the team that combines a background in construction project management, focused leadership, and a devotion to building strong transparent teams & relationships.
Scott earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Amanda Flichtbeil Controller
Amanda oversees the daily work of property accounting to ensure the highest standards of financial accountability, while also employing her entrepreneurial instincts to refine and create systems that enable staff to focus on maximizing value and creating a true sense of community. She has a passion for providing accurate and timely reporting that tells the story of a property’s performance to enable informed decision making. Amanda received her B.A. from University of Oregon and M.B.A from Seattle University.

Gary Bender VP, Redevelopment
The successful redevelopment of any apartment community begins with a great vision to position the asset as a unique offering in the marketplace while optimizing a client’s investment objectives. With a keen ability to see the possibility in every community, Gary oversees project renovations and our capital projects team. With a degree in construction management and over 17 years of multi family experience, projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with the unique approach that makes our communities truly thrive. Gary has overseen award winning renovations including Washington Multifamily Housing Association’s “Renovated Community of the Year”.

Matt Steele Senior Regional Manager
Working with a variety of ownership groups, Matt has played an integral role in meeting and exceeding financing targets, assisted in acquisition as well as disposition of assets, ensured compliance with IRS regulations, as well as managed all legal and insurance claims reducing ownership exposures. In his career he has overseen a wide variety of team members who have grown to senior leadership roles in multiple organizations. His experience has allowed him to develop a diverse skill set in finance, construction, human resources as well as asset and property management. Matt holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.

Brittany Flajole Director of Organizational Development
The most talented associates in the industry provide value for property owners and exceptional service for residents. Leading our organizational development department, Brittany ensures Thrive employs the right strategies to hire, train, and retain its world-class team members. She oversees the implementation of systems, trainings, and processes that allow Thrive to be responsive in the ever-changing world of property management. Brittany holds a B.A. in Psychology and Business and a M.A. in Organizational Development.

Paul Edgeman Director of Operations
Paul Edgeman is an experienced leader in operations and technology. As the former Vice President of Operations at Gold’s Gym Northwest, Paul brings his knowledge of digital marketing, operational efficiency and customer experience to Thrive. Paul’s success in building online presence and streamlining processes are key to his role overseeing marketing and information technology at Thrive.
